Been chipping away at this on and off for a number of years, but I thought I’d post it today to mark the day… a Pepperesque montage featuring all the notable individuals, characters, groups and cultural icons mentioned directly or obliquely by Bowie in his lyrics. There’s a result… my pal @ziggyknowles built this replica phone box and he asked me to take care of the Photoshop work on the Bowie image in the background. It now resides in the Waterloo Music Bar in Blackpool and @chameleonsmark of The @chameleonsbandofficial chose it as the backdrop for his end-of-tour photograph. Saw the previous evening’s Chameleon’s gig in Manchester. They were brilliant.
